Amie Dickie

‘Her work sets out to question fashion archetypes and rules. Literally cutting the pages from magazines, she explores their meaning, searching for a truth by destroying their futility, and imposing herself on their empty spaces’

I like Dickie’s manipulation of such perfect images, cutting them up or nailing things into them. Seeing as it’s a virtual exhibition I could play around with the idea of manipulating famous works to create a new meaning.

Also when looking at her work displayed in a white cube space, it shows how powerful the become full scale and exhibited.
